Kaiko Fidgets

Kaiko Fidgets is a Melbourne-based family business that designs and manufactures purpose-built sensory tools for teens and adults. Developed by Jo, who has a background as an Occupational Therapist and is AuDHD, alongside her autistic and dyslexic son Kai, the range includes tools specifically designed to support emotional regulation and harm reduction.

Kaiko Fidgets places strong emphasis on function, age-appropriate appeal, and durability. Their products are widely used by clinicians, therapists, school networks, organisations such as Headspace, and households across Australia. Kaiko tools are also included in Ambulance Victoria vehicles as part of curated distraction kits designed by Jo.

The range includes tactile and movement-based fidgets, hand rollers, resistance and grounding tools, and discreet supports suitable for use in school, workplace and community settings. A key part of the range is the Safe Ouch collection, designed by Jo to support harm reduction by providing safer sensory alternatives for those who engage in skin picking, scratching or other self-injurious behaviours.
